It was randomly that I went for a display show of Jnana Prabodhini Barchi at one of the Ganesh Mandals in Kothrud Pune. The newly appointed chief minister Eknath Shinde visited the Mandal that day. There was crowd and thankfully I was placed on a high platform with camera. Managed to get this click with a good Nikon camera. (D5300)

We were marching towards Likir Monastery when this cute aged lady was pacing slowly towards the prayer wheel of the monastery.

She was holding her Buddhist beads and chanting continuously. It was a peaceful sight for the sunset time. We tried to chat with her but had to wind up since she wasn’t much keen on stopping her chanting. So just few clicks and we started our journey back to Leh.

I first met him probably at the entrance interview of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala. He was the Principal then. Later probably on first day of school of fifth standard. He looked strict, very strict. And still I don't remember being scolded by him even once in all six years of school. One notable thing about him is he is omnidextrous. He would stand in the middle of the board and write with both the hands without pacing up and down the legnth of blackboard.
